June 2025
This June, Campisi Law proudly sponsored Brain Injury Canada’s awareness campaign, recognizing that our clients’ journeys extend far beyond their legal cases. Brain injury survivors face daily challenges that most people never see—from cognitive difficulties to social barriers that limit their participation in community life. With limited research into long-term impacts and significant gaps in care affecting millions of Canadians, raising awareness isn’t just important—it’s essential. Our sponsorship and advocacy efforts help shine a light on these hidden struggles while supporting the resources and research that brain injury survivors desperately need to rebuild their lives.

We were proud to take part in Capes for Kids, raising funds to support Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital! These real-life superheroes—kids with disabilities and acquired injuries—deserve all the support they need to live their best lives. Every hero deserves a cape, and we’re inspired by their strength and resilience.

Sometimes the best medicine really is laughter. Campisi Law was proud to support the inaugural Laughter Heals event, which brought our community together for an evening of connection and joy while raising an incredible $23,000 for Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. We believe in supporting organizations that directly impact the lives of those we serve, and Holland Bloorview’s work with children requiring rehabilitation aligns perfectly with our values. The evening proved that even lawyers can laugh at themselves—especially when it’s for such an important cause.

At Campisi LLP, we’ve seen firsthand how crucial plasma is for trauma survivors. Many of our clients have needed this life-saving treatment, and we want to do all we can to help them and others facing similar challenges. That’s why our team is partnering with Canadian Blood Services to donate plasma—a vital component used for patients in critical need. Plasma donations provide critical proteins and clotting factors that aid in recovery for trauma, burn, and shock patients. We’re honored to contribute in this way and hope you’ll join us in supporting those who depend on plasma to heal.

Campisi Law participated in BIST’s fundraising run, supporting their mission that no one should face the journey of brain injury alone. BIST provides critical programs, services, and advocacy for Acquired Brain Injury survivors and their families, helping them build thriving lives within a community of hope and resilience. Our team’s participation helped raise funds for these essential services while bringing visibility to the often-invisible challenges that brain injury survivors face every day. It’s meaningful work that directly connects to the clients we serve and the recovery journeys we witness firsthand.
